Traveling with friends is great, but why not venture out on your own this spring break and spend some time feeding your soul? Check out these 4 destinations for some solo spring break exploration.
A week on Oahu is the perfect tropical getaway. The island has everything you could possibly want for an unforgettable spring break: pristine beaches, waves for days, great shopping, a booming food scene, friendly locals, insanely #instaworthy sunsets, volcano hikes and that irresistible spirit of Aloha.
Antigua & Barbuda
The quaint Caribbean island of Antigua has a different beach for every day of the year, need I say more? Snorkel in crystal clear seas, explore historical forts from the 18th Century and then enjoy local dishes while watching the sunset into the ocean. With no shortage of laid-back beach vibes, Antigua offers up an exciting, but relaxing alternate to your average vacay.
Shred some backcountry bowls this spring with a week long ski trip to one of Canada’s most beautiful landscapes — The Rocky Mountains. Although it’s spring, the snow conditions still make for some great chills and thrills. Apres ski in the town of Banff and enjoy an elk burger and local craft beer while being surrounded by majestic mountains. Even a drive to the grocery store is a great photo opp!
San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua
True story, I had the BEST coffee gelato I’ve ever had in San Juan Del Sur and I’ve been to Italy! If you’re into surfing, good coffee, pastel sunsets and avocados on everything, then you probably should go to San Juan Del Sur this spring break. It may be a sleepy surf town by day, but turns on once the sun goes to sleep. Dine at one of the many seaside restaurants then head out to dance the night away to a live reggae band.
