The Gemini Full Moon Ritual

The Gemini Full Moon Ritual

The final full moon of 2021 is here to heal us and to help us release anything that will not serve us in the new year. This month's new moon in Sagittarius stirred up a lot of emotions and forced us to face our innermost truth. While themes from the new moon are still at play, Saturday's full moon will come in to help us recharge and move forward with stronger intentions.

Since this full moon is in Gemini, a signed ruled by the communication planet Mercury, it's going to be crucial that we take the time to reconnect to our inner voice.

Our Full Moon Ritual

Step 1: Cleanse

This isn't the first time you've heard this, but it's potentially even more important to cleanse now that this moon is arriving just after a huge shake up with the last new moon in Sagittarius. We're cleansing our space with the Coven Classic Candle Set

These three candles contain cleansing elements of palo santo, cedar, thyme and patchouli. They will help promote a safe space and reign in positivity. The glow of the candlelight has been know to be calming and can keep bring about total relaxation.

Bonus: If you haven't tried burning these three candles together, then you're in for a real treat!

Step 2: Nourish

Full moons are nourishing. This is peak time for breakthroughs and cleaning out the proverbial "cobwebs" that might be hanging around, clouding your intuition. Take the time to bathe in this full moon, charge your crystals, reflect on everything that's been standing in your way and rework things to clear your path.

Step 3: Work

Now that you've pinpointed the things that you need to shed, use the full moon's added energy to go through the exercise of physically cleaning or organizing something in your space. This can be incredibly beneficial for your mental wellbeing as the act of literally cleaning something can help you make changes in other areas of your life as well.

While doing this, remind yourself that you are working to shed what doesn't serve you.

When you're finished, extinguish your candles with a snuffer or wick dipper. Blowing out a candle can "blow" away all of your intentions.

Happy Full Moon, Candle Coven!
