The French are known for their all-natural approach to beauty and using simple products found in local pharmacies. Unless you have a Parisian pied-a-terre you can jet off to whenever you need a refill, keeping these holy grail products on hand can be tricky. Lucky for us, we’ve found our favorite products a la francaise online. In no particular order, here are the ones we can’t live without!
1. Klorane Dry Shampoo
This is the ultimate dry shampoo. Made from oat milk and a soft inoffensive fragrance, a few spritzes of this gem will soak up any oils and leave you with voluminous locks that look salon fresh. I also love to use this spray to add texture to hair that is too clean for that more lived in look.

2. Embroylisse's Lait-Crème Concentré
This moisturizer has been in my makeup kit for years. It works on almost every skin type and creates the perfect priming base for foundation or wearing skin au natural. It’s incredibly nourishing and helps to rehydrate dry patches.
Pro tip: Apply a thick layer as a mask, leave on for 15 minutes and blot off excess with a tissue to reveal the softest, moisturized skin.
3. Homeoplasmine
This may have been one of the driest, coldest winters in recent memory. If it hadn’t been for a trusty tube of homeoplasmine, I think my face may have fallen off completely. This intensive moisturizer can be used to treat minor scrapes and burns, repair dry patches, and soothe even the most chapped lips. I keep a tube on my night stand, in my purse, and on my desk! A true miracle product!
Pro tip: Slather some on your lips while you do your make up, tissue off any excess, and apply lipstick on top for a smooth and lasting application.
4. La Roche-Posay Lipikar Daily Repair Moisturizing Lotion
This body lotion is great for normal to dry skin and can even help treat eczema. It helps alleviate flaky skin by restoring moisture all day and replenishing essential skin lipids. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave you feeling sticky. Bonus, it’s gentle enough to use on your face!
